Kevin Lucas, BCSIcm, LMT is a Certified Advanced Structural Integrator. He began his education at the Utah College of Massage Therapy and received his Advanced Structural Integration Training at the Guild for Structural Integration. Throughout his career, Kevin has helped many patients with very severe conditions and diseases such as Scoliosis, Parkinson’s, Dystonia, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Pain. In his clinic, Kevin specializes in working with all levels of athletes and works on a daily basis with professional and collegiate level athletes from all over the country.
Since 2000, Kevin has provided a very effective manual therapy for his clients called the Rolf Method of Structural Integration. Even though all of his clients were experiencing great results, he was not satisfied and wanted them to get even more change and relief from their pain. He wanted them to have improvement and relief that would be long lasting so they didn’t need to come back and see him all the time.
In 2005, one of Kevin’s clients brought a foam roller into her session. Her physical therapist had given her some exercises to do with the roller and she admitted that she didn’t want to do the exercises because they were painful. She was looking to Kevin for help. The light bulb went off and Kevin knew that he found what he was looking for. Kevin immediately started translating the work he was doing in the treatment room to techniques his clients could do at home. After years of refining and sharing the Relief Through Rolling techniques with his clients, it was time to share these techniques outside of his clinic. In 2014, Kevin created the Relief Through Rolling DVD and started teaching these techniques around the US and Canada.
